Have You Heard About the Saddle River Garden Club?

Gardeners and nature lovers in the Saddle River, New Jersey area may want to consider joining the Saddle River Garden Club.

Organized in 1939, “to stimulate the knowledge of gardening among amateurs; to encourage civic planting; and to aid in the protection of native trees, plants and birds.” the Saddle River Garden Club has continued to carry out these original goals in association with the Federation of Garden Clubs of Bergen County from 1940 until its disbandment in 1983, with the Garden Club of New Jersey since 1955, with the Audubon Society since 1957, and Skylands Association since 1984.

Club activities include special events, workshops and other programs. Meetings are held on the third Tuesday of each month at 7:00 pm.
