Oscar Winning Actor, F. Murray Abraham and Film Screening of Amadeus (1984) at Barrymore Film Center in Fort Lee

The Barrymore Film Center (BFC) will bring to the stage F. Murray Abraham, 1985 Best Actor Academy Award Winner for his role as Antonio Salieri in Amadeus on Saturday, January 27^th at 7:00 pm. Mr. Abraham will be in conversation on the BFC stage with WQXR Peabody Award winning broadcaster, Elliott Forrest. Mr. Abraham also won the 1985 Golden Globe Award for Best Actor in a Motion Picture for his remarkable performance in the film. Amadeus brought home eight Oscars in 1985, including Best Picture, Best Director, Best Actor, Best Writing, Best Art Direction, Best Costume Design, Best Sound, and Best  Makeup. The film will be screened following the live conversation and Q&A.

 

The Barrymore Film Center celebrates Mozart’s birthday with this unique opportunity to hear about the making of Amadeus and Mr. Abraham’s experience collaborating with director, Milos Forman, and his fellow actors.
