Free Shakespeare in the Park Comes to Bergen County

The Hudson Shakespeare Company is bringing free Shakespeare in the Park to Bergen County this summer.

Shakespeare's classic tale of star-crossed lovers, Romeo and Juliet, comes to the summer stage in a new, raw, and exuberant way.

After the recent presidential election, are we living in a country divided-divided by hate? Violence stemming from hatred and anger makes this story even more relevant. Can love between two young people possibly survive? We know the outcome, but what will make us change? Must we bury bodies in order to bury hate? Or will we continue to be "fortune's fool" and pass our hatred on to our next generation? Come see this extremely gut wrenching story told through a frighteningly relevant lens.
