The Mahwah Regional Chamber of Commerce Foundation will offer two $1,000 scholarships for the 2016-2017 school year. The scholarships are to be used for full-time attendance at an accredited college, university or trade school.
Scholarships Available for MRCC Affiliates
Eligible to apply are members of the Mahwah Regional Chamber of Commerce and their immediate families, as well as employees of Chamber members and their immediate families. Immediate family is described as a parent, legal guardian, brother, sister, spouse, or partner.
The scholarships are not limited to top-ranked students, not based on need, and not limited to high school seniors. Applicants may include current students, transfer students, vo-tech students, adult students, as well as high school seniors. The awards are offered regardless of other scholarships applied for or granted.
The deadline to apply is June 30, 2016.

The MRCC Foundation is a publicly supported 501(c)(3) charitable corporation whose purpose is to identify and financially support charitable and educational programs. The Foundation typically leverages its contribution by working with “partners” who also contribute support to the program or activity. The Foundation has in the past, partnered with The Mahwah Regional Chamber of Commerce as well as individual, non-profit and corporate donors. Some of these programs and activities include annual college and trade school scholarships for local high school graduates, adults and vocational students.
