September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. The 1st annual Skyler Rain 5K Run/Walk for Childhood Cancer will be held on Saturday, September 30, 2017 at 9:00 am. The event takes place at Saddle River County Park, Otto C. Pehle area, 760 Saddle River Road, Saddle Brook, New Jersey.

The 5k begins at Skyler’s memorial tree (at the playground next to the pavilion area), and follows the walking path through Saddle Brook Park looping around the river and pond areas, and finishes by the pavilion. The event also features pre/post-race snacks and water, DJ, tee shirts, and a pre-race warm up.

The Skyler Rain Barber Neuroblastoma Foundation is a recognized nonprofit, 501(c)3 organization, founded in memory of Skyler Rain Barber who lost her precious life to childhood cancer only weeks after being born. The Foundation’s mission is to help children with cancer, and their families receive the emotional and financial support needed to access comprehensive care and to cope with this devastating disease. Our goal is to bring awareness and support to the community while raising funds to support our mission to help families and children.
