Bergen County, NJ Area Restaurants You Need to Know About: Brady's at the Station in Ramsey features Area's Best Chili

Brady’s at the Station has been a favorite spot for families living in the Ramsey, New Jersey area for years. More recently, this restaurant, located in a historic building near the train crossing in downtown Ramsey, has become a destination for diners from all over Bergen and Rockland Counties.

Proprietor John Brady is an excellent host. The friendly tone Brady sets, and the restaurant’s commitment to quality food and professional service, has likely led to this surge in popularity.

While the restaurant has a good number of Irish specialties on the menu (courtesy of the Irish-born Brady), there’s a great deal more to the varied and moderately-priced menu. In fact, Brady’s at the Station has taken first-place honors for Bergen County’s Best Chili in the prestigious Bergen Health & Life magazine Best of Bergen competition.

In-season, outdoor dining is available on their second floor deck which overlooks charming downtown Ramsey. Additional outdoor dining near the restaurant’s main entrance is available for families with children of all ages.

Brady’s two bars (first and second level) are well-staffed by likeable and experienced professional This is important since both bars are popular meeting spots for pre and post dinner cocktails as well as late-night socializing and pub grub. But this is very much a family restaurant, with a menu and staff that will make the entire family comfortable and happy.
