Guesswork Begone: Wolf Introduces New Line of Gas Ranges

Wolf Appliance, Inc., the industry leader in premium cooking equipment, has announced a new line of gas ranges. Available in 2013, the new Wolf gas range line will feature dual-stacked burners, which ensure that heat is consistently and precisely controlled through two tiers of flame ports, and showcase an updated stainless steel design.

The dual-stacked sealed burners range from 9,200 to 15,000 Btus on high and are equipped with simmer capabilities and automatic reignition. One burner on each range can be reduced down to 350 Btus, which is an ideal melt temperature. Tough kitchen cleanup is also easily avoided with the one-piece construction of the sealed burner pans.

"At Wolf, we're dedicated to creating appliances that not only instill cooking confidence within each of our owners, but also help each achieve consistently delicious results," said Michele Bedard, vice president of marketing for Sub-Zero and Wolf. "The new gas range line is a testament to that dedication. Dual-stacked burners provide unmatched control, reducing cooking guesswork with the simple twist of a knob."

The ranges will also feature gas convection ovens with infrared broilers and, for the larger models (36", 48" and 60"), rangetop configurations that include infrared charbroiler or infrared griddle options to match any cooking style. The popular French top option is also available on the 60" model.

Updated gas ranges are outfitted with porcelain-coated, cast iron continuous burner grates that provide even heating, customizable control knobs available in stainless steel, black, or signature Wolf red, and three adjustable oven racks. Consumers will also enjoy the Wolf exclusive spring-and-damper door hinge system, which provides seamless oven door opening and closure.
