EGGstravaganza at Bergen County Zoo: April 12 and April 13, 10:00 am-5:00 pm
Get ready for a hopping good time at the Eggstravaganza at the Bergen County Zoo! This beloved annual event returns on Saturday, April 12, and Sunday, April 13, from 10:00 am-5:00 pm, bringing springtime fun for the whole family.
Kids can enjoy treat stations, hop aboard the train and carousel rides, and capture adorable photo ops throughout the zoo. Advance registration is required, so be sure to secure your spot early! In case of rain, the event will take place on Saturday, April 19.

Spring Pickleball Clinics for Kids in Fair Lawn: April 14-June 11
Pickleball is an exciting sport that combines fitness and fun. These spring pickleball clinics for kids at Montclair Pickleball in Fair Lawn are designed for children ages 6-13, who are eager to pick up a new sport or enhance their pickleball skills. It’s a fantastic way for kids to engage in a social and healthy activity that promotes teamwork and physical well-being. The camps are run by coaches who are fun, experienced, and high-level players.

Zoo Babies Program at Bergen County Zoo in Paramus: Tuesday, April 15, 10:30-11:30 am
Join the Bergen County Zoo for an engaging caregiver-and-child class as part of their Zoo Babies: Pop-up Programs series. Designed for children ages 18 months to 3 years old, this hour-long class allows children and their caretaker to explore the world of animals through crafts, stories, animal meet-and-greets, and zoo tours!
The class takes place in the Education Center and outdoors in the zoo, offering a unique experience for both children and their caregivers. Tickets cover admission for one child and one adult. Please note that children must be accompanied by an adult chaperone at all times.

Spring Forest Fables at Flat Rock Brook Nature Center in Englewood: Tuesdays, April 15 Through May 20
Enjoy the wonders of nature with your toddler at Flat Rock Brook’s weekly program! Perfect for kids ages 2-5, each session features a different theme with fun lessons, games, crafts, hikes, and live animals. Weather permitting, part of the class will be held outdoors, so dress accordingly. Classes run Tuesday mornings, 10:30-11:30 AM, at the Nature Center. Register for the six-week program or pick your day.

Story Time with the Easter Bunny at Abma’s Farm in Wyckoff: April 16 and April 17
Here’s a fun springtime event for the little ones! Head over to Abma’s Farm for a festive, farm-style Story Time with a special appearance by the Easter Bunny!
This interactive experience is perfect for children ages 3 and up. A lively storyteller will read a cheerful tale, complete with songs, props, and puppets. After Story Time, families can stick around for a photo op with the Easter Bunny in front of a farm-themed backdrop. Don’t forget your camera—staff will be happy to snap a photo for you, or you’re welcome to take your own!

Join Tenafly Nature Center for a new twist on searching for eggs! Kids are invited to search the Center’s beautiful forest in search of naturally dyed eggs. After the egg hunt, children will enjoy additional egg-citing activities designed to make this seasonal tradition extra special. Please bring your own basket to collect your colorful treasures!
There are four sessions to choose from:

Open Cockpit Day at the Aviation Hall of Fame and Museum in Teterboro: Saturday, April 19, 10:30 am-4:00 pm
This popular event at the Aviation Hall of Fame gives visitors the opportunity to sit in the cockpit of a very rare Lockheed Bushmaster plane, a U.S. Coast Guard Rescue Helicopter, and a M*A*S*H Bell 47 helicopter made famous during the Korean War; and see the cabin and cockpit of the world’s only surviving Martin 202A Airliner.
The event also includes displays featuring a Bell AH-1 Cobra helicopter, an
OV-1A Mohawk Observation/Attack Aircraft, a General Aviation Trainer (G.A.T-1) and a
Glider.
Young astronauts won’t want to miss the working display of the International Space Station (ISS) with uniforms and items used by many astronauts like Buzz Aldrin and Scott and Mark Kelly, just to name a few.
And before you leave, be sure to sit inside the Aviation Hall of Fame’s Official Airport Rescue Firefighter Truck!

On Friday, May 2, JDK Social Station in Secaucus, a specialized multi-sensory teaching facility that enhances the learning, social, and interactive skills of children with social deficits and other related issues, invites kids ages 10-16 to a social event crafted just for them.
Relax, make friends, and build social confidence in a friendly, supervised setting. Known for its inclusive approach to helping young people develop social and life skills, JDK Social Station is making this night a fun experience that encourages real-world social interaction, all for just $10 at the door.
