Let It Glow! A Holiday Lantern Spectacular at the Bergen County Zoo: November 7-January 12
Don’t miss the magic of Let It Glow at the Bergen County Zoo! This year’s holiday lantern spectacular features over 30 breathtaking all-new animal-themed lanterns, perfect for all ages to enjoy. Your ticket includes a walk-through the zoo and a festive train ride to add to the fun!
Cozy up by the fire pits for s’mores with kits available for purchase in the Zoo’s Gift Shop.
Let It Glow runs from November 7, 2024-January 12, 2025, and is open on Thursdays and Sundays, from 4:00 pm-8:00 pm, and on Fridays and Saturdays, from 4:00 pm-9:00 pm. Let It Glow is closed on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day, and closes early on December 24 and December 31.

Orchard of Lights at Demarest Farms in Hillsdale: November 22-December 29
Get ready to celebrate the holiday season at Orchard of Lights!
Drive through 32 acres of glowing, festive holiday light displays that will dazzle the whole family. After the tour, warm up by a fire pit, make your own s’mores, take photos with Santa, and listen to Santa’s singing reindeer.

Winter Pickleball Clinics for Kids in Fair Lawn: December 2, 2024-March 25, 2025
Pickleball is an exciting sport that combines fitness and fun. These winter pickleball clinics for kids at Montclair Pickleball in Fair Lawn are designed for children, ages 9-13, who are eager to pick up a new sport or enhance their pickleball skills. It’s a fantastic way for kids to engage in a social and healthy activity that promotes teamwork and physical well-being. The camps are run by coaches who are fun, experienced, and high-level players.
Winter pickleball clinics for kids feature two 8-week sessions, December 2, 2024-January 28, 2025, and February 3, 2025-March 25, 2025. Sign up for a discounted package or pick-your-day!

The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical (Theatre for Young Audiences Edition) in Oradell: December 7-December 22
Bring the family to this limited holiday run of The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical (Theatre for Young Audiences Edition) at the Little Firehouse Theatre in Oradell from December 7 thru December 22.
This family musical is an action-packed theatrical adventure that has been celebrated by audiences and critics alike. Performance times are Fridays at 7:30 pm, and Saturdays and Sundays at 1:00 pm and 4:00 pm.
The show is recommended for ages seven and above, runs approximately 80 minutes and will be performed without intermission. A Meet-and-Greet, photo and autograph session with the cast will occur after every performance in BCP’s downstairs lounge.
As the half-blood son of a Greek god, Percy Jackson has newly discovered powers he can’t control, a destiny he doesn’t want, and a mythology textbook’s worth of monsters on his trail. When Zeus’s master lightning bolt is stolen and Percy becomes the prime suspect, he must find and return the bolt to prove his innocence and prevent a war between the gods. But to succeed in his quest, Percy will have to do more than catch the thief. He must travel to the Underworld and back; solve the riddle of the Oracle, which warns him of betrayal by a friend; and come to terms with the father who abandoned him.

Get into the holiday spirit at the Wyckoff YMCA with this festive gingerbread house workshop where students can use frosting, sprinkles, gumdrops, and more to design their perfect holiday treat. Participants will be challenged to build and decorate their own unique gingerbread house to proudly display throughout the holiday season!
