2019 EarthFest Overpeck: Join Bergen County Parks and Hackensack Riverkeeper at the 6th Annual EarthFest Overpeck, a celebration of clean water and a healthy environment. The festival is Sunday, May 19th from 1:00 pm-5:00 pm and will be held at the amphitheater at Overpeck County Park in Ridgefield Park, New Jersey. The Recycled Regatta – a race between boats made from recycled materials – will kick off the day’s festivities at noon at Overpeck Park Kayak Center near the 50 Fort Lee Road, Leonia entrance.
The 2019 EarthFest Overpeck will also feature free kayaking and canoeing, free fishing derby (compliments of Ramsey Outdoor Store and East Jersey Trout Unlimited), a rain barrel workshop, live music, food trucks, children’s activities and entertainment including a mad scientist show, a wildlife presentation by New Jersey Batman, Joe D’Angeli, a birds of prey presentation, over 50 green vendors, more!
