The third annual Fort Lee Restaurant Week concluded on September 30th after seven days filled with unique dining opportunities and specials. Beginning Monday, September 24, promotions and specials were available at nearly 50 restaurants throughout Fort Lee’s Town Center. Cultures that were represented include: Chinese, Classic American, Greek, Italian, Korean, Lebanese, Southern Cajun and Vietnamese.
“We are thrilled to have held another successful Fort Lee Restaurant Week,” said Romina Luppino Starace, President of the Fort Lee Business District Alliance (BDA). “This event gets better every year. We are very proud of the quality and authenticity of our restaurants’
ethnic dishes.”
Organized by the Fort Lee BDA, the third annual Fort Lee Restaurant Week also featured appearances by numerous celebrity chefs who headlined the Tasting Tour on September 25. Lead by returning chef, David Burke, the Tasting Tour officially kicked off Restaurant Week on Tuesday with stops at six different restaurants. Celebrity chefs PJ Calapa, Leah Cohen and Justin Smillie joined Burke on this culinary journey and spent the night sampling some of Fort Lee’s best Italian pizza, Korean BBQ, Greek gyros, Cajun crawfish, Southern smoked brisket and more.
“Fort Lee has so many diverse and delicious dishes to offer and Restaurant Week gives us the opportunity to represent our thriving restaurant community,” said Mayor Mark Sokolich. “We are already looking forward to making next year’s bigger and better.”
