Are you getting enough sleep? A recent CDC study shared by the National Health Foundation showed 32.3% of adults in New Jersey might be suffering from sleep deprivation.
According to the CDC, lack of sleep is linked to many chronic diseases and conditions, including type 2 diabetes, depression, heart disease, and obesity. Motor vehicle crashes and workplace mistakes can also be caused by sleep deprivation.
Too many people believe they can get away with minimal sleep or do not understand how much sleep is needed to maintain a healthier and happier lifestyle. Others struggle with insomnia, sleep apnea, or other conditions that disrupt sleep and can lead to more severe health and quality of life issues.
