Speech & Hearing Associates (SHA) is dedicated to helping people lead more fulfilling lives by giving them the tools essential to maximize their communication potential. Whether this means helping a child say his first words or expand his vocabulary, teaching someone to use his voice better to eliminate vocal nodules, providing strategies to speak more fluently, enabling a student to have more success understanding materials he hears or assisting someone chose the best hearing aid for that person, our speech-language pathologists and audiologists take the time and have the expertise.
SHA is proud of our long-standing reputation of excellence in service and experience. Established in 1969, SHA has grown with ten offices in eight New Jersey counties (Bergen, Passaic, Morris, Essex, Hudson, Somerset, Middlesex, and Union). In addition to our private offices, SHA professionals provide services in settings such as hospitals, rehabilitation, and long term care facilities, head start programs, and schools.

When someone you care about needs a speech-language evaluation and/or therapy, hearing assessment, or hearing aid, you don’t want to wait six months or more for an appointment. We strive to schedule appointments within a week or two and offer convenient early morning, evening, and Saturday hours at several locations.
