“Bergen Five-0,” a musical celebration of Bergen Community College’s 50th anniversary, will take place Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at 7:30 pm at the Anna Maria Ciccone Theatre in Paramus, New Jersey. This Bergen County concert is the 2018 installment of the annual Ron Mazurek Scholarship concert series. The concert was originally scheduled for March 8 but was postponed due to a winter storm.
Directed by Bergen music professors Andy Krikun, Ph.D. and Meryl Sole, Ph.D., the concert will feature students, faculty, alumni and special guests performing selections by distinguished artists who have graced the College’s stage over the past five decades.
The series has featured diverse artists from theatre and film such as Olympia Dukakis, tap dancer Heather Cornell (Manhattan Tap), musical theatre composers Stew and Heidi Rodewald (Passing Strange), and Native American musician Bill Miller.
All proceeds from this Bergen County concert will benefit the Ron Mazurek Scholarship fund to help music students continue their studies at Bergen Community College.
Tickets are $15 for the general public with discounts offered to senior citizens, Bergen faculty and students. To purchase tickets, call 201-447-7428 or visit tickets.bergen.edu.
