Leonia Resident Selected to Participate in Prestigious Bergen LEADS Program in Bergen County

Joyce Luhrs of Leonia has been selected through a competitive process to participate in Bergen LEADS, Bergen County’s first and only civic leadership program sponsored by the Volunteer Center of Bergen County.

In monthly seminars led by former Bergen County Executive William “Pat” Schuber, Ms. Luhrs joins other leaders from the nonprofit, business and government sectors to examine local issues, discuss diverse perspectives and identify solutions to address Bergen County's challenges. Participants also examine their leadership styles and identify ways to enhance their leadership capacity.
