Things to do in Bergen County!
Here’s a unique event happening at Teaneck Creek Conservancy! Drum, sing, and dance Gahu, a recreational piece from West Africa, playing traditional drums, bells, and rattles. This connective music making is fun, playable and accessible for everyone – no previous musical experience is required.
The event is led by Robert Levin, director of the Montclair State University West African Drumming and Dance Ensemble and percussionist for The Lion King on Broadway.
Bring an outdoor chair, bug repellent and water. Registration is requested. Find more information and register here. Teaneck Creek is located at 20 Puffin Way in Teaneck, New Jersey.
