Women of the Hermitage

February 24 @ 2:00 pm-4:00 pm

$20 – $30

The Hermitage stands today due to the efforts and determination of a number of remarkable women who lived here from the time of Anne DeVisme and her daughter (and the future wife of Aaron Burr) Theodosia Prevost in 1767, through the last of the Rosencrantz family, who occupied the historic landmark for 163 years, Mary Elizabeth in 1970. Please join our amazing guest speaker Marion Brown and hear about the lives of the strong and determined women who lived in and protected the Hermitage from destruction over more than 200 years. And a special “Women of the Hermitage” tour of the house will follow immediate after the lecture. Sunday, March 24th at 2pm. Tickets are $20 for lecture + $10 for special tour (space is limited for tour) and are available at https://thehermitage.org/events 335 North Franklin Turnpike, Ho-Ho-Kus, NJ (201) 445-8311
