Learn How to Attract Butterflies to Your Garden

The Garden Club of Harrington Park will hold its next meeting on Thursday, February 2, 2017at 7:30 pm at the Harrington Park Library, 10 Herring Street, Harrington Park, New Jersey. 

Create a Butterfly Friendly Garden

Guest speaker Don Torino will present "Butterflies in Your Garden". Torino will discuss how you can create a wildlife friendly garden that will bring butterflies, the native plants that will attract them, and how to identify the butterflies. You will also learn how your yard can become a Bergen County Audubon Society Certified Wildlife garden.

Torino is the President of the Bergen County Audubon Society, the local chapter of the National Audubon Society, for which he conducts many programs, walks, and field trips. He is also the Naturalist for Wild Birds Unlimited in Paramus. He writes a weekly column for Wild New Jersey and a monthly column for the NJ Insider called "Nature in Your Backyard".

The Program will be followed by a "Q & A" session and refreshments.

The garden Club welcomes all gardeners, active or armchair, from all towns to attend their free meetings
