Enjoy the spirit of the season at the Annual Holiday Candlelight Tours at The Hermitage in Ho-Ho-Kus! This year’s theme, “The Nutcracker,” brings the beloved ballet to life with beautifully decorated rooms featuring scenes from the ballet. After the tour, enjoy cookies and cider in the Rosencrantz House and browse unique holiday finds in the gift shop.

Originally created as an antidote to holiday stress and commercialization, Festivus gained fame as the quirky “holiday for the rest of us” after its spotlight in a 1997 Seinfeld episode. Blend humor with nature to celebrate in a truly unique way.

Join Bergen County Audubon to kick off the festivities by wishing good cheer to our feathered friends!  All levels of birders are welcome, and additional guides will be on hand to help newer enthusiasts identify birds. This free program is part of the Conservancy’s year-round offerings. If you enjoy the experience, consider donating or becoming a member to support more nature programs, including BCAS’s monthly bird and native plant walks.
