Bergen County Clubs & Organizations: Woman’s Club of Rutherford

The GFWC Woman's Club of Rutherford, New Jersey is a non-profit volunteer organization, working toward helping the Community with a spirit of friendship. 

The club, comprised of women ages 18 and older, meets the 1st Monday of each month (except for June, July, and August): September, December, January, March and May at 12:00 noon October, November, February and April at 6:30 pm in the clubhouse at 201 Fairview Avenue (corner of Montross Avenue) in Rutherford, New Jersey.

At club meetings, new ideas are presented and future ideas are discussed and planned. Often an informative and interesting program follows, or sometimes something just for fun — like have an auction! They might even have a working session, such as packaging blizzard bags for Meals on Wheels recipients or working on a crafting project. There is always a wonderful feeling of friendship and sense of community.
