The restaurant brand’s first New Jersey location opens with its spring menu featuring a delicious lineup of fan favorites, new seasonal dishes, freshly pressed juices and handcrafted cocktails available for lunch, dinner or weekend brunch.

The new restaurant occupies a 6,628 square ft. space with a 1,200 square ft. patio. When entering the space, guests are greeted by a garden-inspired dining room featuring draping vines of pothos and ivy, artwork inspired by the beautiful, nutrient-rich, seasonal ingredients highlighted in the brand’s craveable menu, and murals designed to reinforce True Food’s mission and values. The restaurant utilizes eco-friendly materials including dining chairs made of recycled soda bottles to further their promise to nourish the body and nurture the planet.

Several standouts on the new Spring menu include the new Vegan Double Cheeseburger, a house-made protein-packed vegetarian patty made with portobello mushroom, walnut, beet, kuzu, and topped with butter lettuce, pickled onion, organic tomato, vegan cheddar and vegenaise on a flaxseed bun; the Spicy Tuna Spring Rolla new starter made with wild albacore tuna, baru nut sauce, turmeric nuoc cham rice noodle, carrot, asparagus, romaine, cilantro, Thai basil and mint; the brunch-classic Garden Scramble with grilled asparagus and poblano pepper; and Avocado Key Lime Pie, a seasonal vegan dessert option. Other mainstay dishes available year-round include favorites like the Ancient Grains Bowl, Spaghetti Squash CasseroleOrganic Tuscan Kale Salad and more.

To complement the spring flavors and fresh ingredients, the restaurant offers a scratch bar featuring freshly pressed juices, organic teas, and natural refreshers, such as the seasonal Organic Raspberry Lemonade and Sparkling Mango Tea. A selection of beer, wine and handcrafted cocktails containing organic and gluten-free spirits are also available. Signature cocktails include the Citrus Skinny Margarita along with seasonal selections such as the Dragon Fruit Margarita, Apricots & BourbonThe Monarch and the Strawberry Smash.

True Food Kitchen in Hackensack is open Monday through Thursday from 11:00 am to 9:00 pm, Friday from 11:00 am to 10:00 pm, Saturday from 10:00 am to 10:00 pm, and Sunday from 10:00 am to 9:00 pm.
