True Food Kitchen, the award-winning, seasonally-inspired restaurant brand is opening its newest restaurant in Hackensack, New Jersey this spring, marking the brand’s first location in New Jersey. Opening its doors on Wednesday, March 17, 2021 at The Shops at Riverside in Hackensack, the restaurant is looking to hire over 70 team members, including both front- and back-of-house positions, during a three-week job fair at the restaurant. The fair started on February 8th and will run through February 27th. Available positions include servers, host/ess, chefs, cooks, dishwashers and more.

True Food Kitchen will occupy a 6,628 square ft. space with a 1,200 square ft. patio made up of eco-friendly materials—including dining chairs made of recycled soda bottles—with an earthy color scheme and a contemporary touch meant to inspire guests to eat better, drink better and live better. Co-founded by integrative medicine expert, Dr. Andrew Weil, True Food Kitchen’s menu closely adheres to his anti-inflammatory food pyramid, which focuses on eating foods that help maintain optimal health. With a dining room designed for social distancing, the restaurant will offer lunch, dinner and weekend brunch, with signature dishes and cocktails in addition to a new spring-inspired menu.
