Retreat Weekend at Fort Lee Historic Park

In remembrance of the 1776 British invasion of New Jersey and the start of the Continental Army’s famous “Retreat to Victory,” Fort Lee Historic Park will host its annual Retreat Weekend on Saturday, November 23, and Sunday, November 24. This event brings history to life with reenactments of 18th-century life, as well as period demonstrations. It’s a unique opportunity to step back in time and witness the pivotal moments of the American Revolution.
Retreat Weekend Schedule:
- Saturday, November 23, 10:00 am-5:00 pm, features music, cooking and artillery demos, a parade to Monument Park at noon, and more.
- Sunday, November 24, 2:00 pm-5:00 pm, features artillery demos.
