Pea Day at Garretson Forge & Farm in Fair Lawn

Did you know that in Ireland, planting peas on Saint Patrick’s Day is believed to bring good luck at harvest time? This year, you can take part in this fun tradition a day early!

Join the Garretson gardeners for their first outdoor planting of the season on Sunday, March 16, from 1:00 pm-4:00 pm. Everyone is welcome—especially kids—to help Garretson Forge & Farm get its garden growing!

While you’re there, visit the Seed Library to pick up free seeds to start your own garden at home. Plus, Master Gardeners will be on hand to answer any gardening questions.
