More than 14,000 students will enroll at Bergen Community College, the state’s No. 1 institution for associate degree graduates, this fall. Bergen Community College fall semester registration is open through September 5. Register online at Bergen.edu or in-person at the main campus, 400 Paramus Road, Paramus, New Jersey.
At Bergen, students earn associate degrees and certificates in aviation, business administration, culinary arts, fashion design, nursing and more while studying under a renowned faculty – including a former U.S. Professor of the Year. Alumni have transferred to institutions such as Yale, the New Jersey Institute of Technology and the University of California, Berkeley.
The College maintains campus locations in Paramus (main), Hackensack (Philp Ciarco Jr. Learning Center) and Lyndhurst (Bergen Community College at the Meadowlands). Online classes are also offered. The main campus features the Health Professions Integrated Teaching Center, the Emil Buehler Trust Observatory and Stryker Manufacturing Lab. These facilities provide students with hands-on, practice-based learning opportunities. Day and evening classes take place throughout the week – including a “weekend college” program.
Bergen also offers numerous support services to help students remain enrolled and on a path for graduation. The College’s Cerullo Learning Assistance Center has twice earned honors as the top tutoring center in the country, while an on-campus food pantry and “career closet” target hidden challenges faced by many community college students.
